Privacy Policy

MarTec Solutions builds and hosts websites for small and local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect on martecsolutions.net and through Pluto, the chat assistant on this site, and how we use it. Questions can go to hello@martecsolutions.net.

Chat with Pluto. The messages you type are sent to our server and to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate Pluto's replies. We do not save chat transcripts. The conversation stays in your browser tab and is gone when you close or refresh the page. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as error messages and usage counts, which do not include your messages.

Booking a consultation. If you book a free consultation through Pluto, we collect your name, email address, type of business and any notes you share. These are saved as an event in MarTec's Google Calendar, and Google sends you a calendar invite. To prevent abuse, a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address is stored with the booking. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.

Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It reports anonymous, combined statistics and does not use cookies.

Email. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply and follow up.

We use this information only to answer your questions, schedule and manage consultations, follow up about your project, and keep the site working and secure. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

This site connects to Google Calendar only to manage MarTec's own consultation calendar: checking available times, and creating, looking up, moving and cancelling consultation bookings. It does not access visitors' Google accounts or calendars.

MarTec's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We share information only with the services that run this site:

• Vercel, which hosts the website
• Anthropic, which provides the AI behind Pluto
• Google, which hosts our calendar and sends booking invites

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Booking details stay in our calendar for as long as we need them to work with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@martecsolutions.net. You can also cancel a booking at any time through Pluto or by email.

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
